Can the New York Jets regroup?

The New York Jets suffered a heartbreaking loss Sunday against the Washington Redskins. They lost the game in overtime by a field goal. The Jets did play pretty good during the game but did have some key mistakes. Dropped passed, blown coverage, unable to stop the run, and they couldn't finish the Redskins off. Now who would you blame? I would blame the receivers and the defense. The receivers dropped five keys passes that would of probably given them the game. The defense allowed the Redskins to get back into the game, we should of stopped them on key third downs and not allowed them to tie the score.

Though the Jets lost the game the do have something to be happy about. Kellen Clemens their new starting quarterback has now given them some hope. He played pretty good during this game, maybe just some badly accurate throws but still kept them in. Kellen Clemens is the future for the Jets and he will be a very strong force on the years to come. Watch out for him next week who ever has him on their fantasy team because, I believe that he will have another strong game. What do you guys think let me know.

From Joe Torre to Joe Girardi

The New York Yankees recently lost their manager Joe Torre, and they hired a new manager former Yankee Joe Girardi. The yanks did try to get Torre back but he denied the resigning and signed with the Los Angleas Dodgers. After losing Torre, team owner started looking at possible ideas of hiring Joe Girardi or even Don Mattingly. They stuck with Joe Girardi for the manager position. Do you believe that the Yankees made the right decision. I'm not quite sure if Girardi is right for the position.

Another blogger Manny Ortiz writes "The Yanks, more than ever in recent memory, need someone who can develop their young arms properly. They can have the best rotation in the game in a few years, or have their guys turn out like the Mets’ Generation K. I don’t see how Girardi will help. "

I believe that Manny is right on this one, Joe Torre had a hard time with the pitching staff, and the switch to Girardi I don't believe the he was the right choice. Even though he was one of the managers of the year, so what he's now dealing with the New York Yankees. The Yankees are a veteran team and with a young coach I don't no. The Yankees did make their choice by signing Joe Girardi and I guess we'll have too just sit and watch.

Yanks Disappoint

The New York Yankees have been a huge disappointment to all New York fans. During the pre-season Yankee fans assumed that this was going to be the year. Even though they began the season with a horrible start, and they picked up their momentum after the allstar break. The Yankees had the best record coming out of the all-star break but they couldn't maintain their momentum going on into the playoffs. The Cleveland Indians were the team that beat the Yankees in the first round.
These Indians went zero and six against the Yankees in the regular season, but beat the yankees in four in the playoffs. Now who is it to blame on? The entire team didn't have their hitting and their pitching wasn't all that terrific. Or should we blame Joe Torre for getting us to the playoffs but not winning? Now Steinbrenner says that he dosen't want Torre coming back, and Alex says that he wants more money. What do the Yankees do for next season? One thing that they did accomplish was findinf young talent. Joba Chamberlain, Kennedy, Philip Hughes, and many more. This whole thing has fustrated the Yankees not only this year but for years that have past too. What are these Yankee fans supposed to do?

The Ninja

The other night I almost saw the famous thief the ninja. The ninja currently has robbed 16 houses and is still going. He gets into houses early morning, mid-day, and even at night. He gets into the houses threw many ways. Though one way that the ninja gets into houses is the second floor, somehow he gets threw the second floor windows. The other night me and my friends were hanging out outside his house late at night, and I kept thinking that I was hearing something. Their was sounds of movement out in the bushes, and my friends didn't believe me. An hour went by and a couple of my friends left, my friend Omar, Kevin, and myself remained. We started cleaning up the mess we had made outside when I hear another noise.

This time someone whistles really quietly, for the exact same spot of the last noise. My friends and I started looking around for a object to defend ourselves. We started running towards the bushes with our weapons and we see a masked man run out and he starts running up towards a forest. Past the forest their are streets, we kept running after him and when we suddenly hear a car door being closed loudly, and we see a Bentley (an very expensive car) pull away. After this incident we called the cops, and they questioned us about the masked man. Before this incident my friends and I didn't think that something like this could have happened. This incident has shown us that nothing is impossible, and that even thief's can come to your home.

Attacks aren't impossible.

We must never forget the attacks that have been done to our city. New York City has suffered many loses due to the terrible event done by terrorists. Before the attacks of 9/11 people didn't realize that such an tragedy can occur. These terrible doing's have changed our way of life. Our security was never prepared for such and event. Two planes crashing into the two tallest buildings that New York has isn't something that we can forget. Security has tripled in the past couple of years because they were afraid of something drastic happening again. Now our airplane security has tripled, from the bag checks, to the metal detectors. People are restricted to what they can bring on a plane. Also on our transportation security has tightened up. This gives New Yorkers a stronger belief that terrorists will not be able to have another attack like this. 9/11 was something that people believed was impossible, it happened and it can happen again if we do not take the right precautions.

Why lose when you can win?

All season long the New York Yankees have been showing different signs of emotion. Before the all-star break the Yankees played terrible. Some fans did have faith in the Yankees, though others worried about the Yankees making the play-offs. While on the field the Yankees played with out hope. Though their star player Alex Rodriquez was having an all-star season.

Something sparked the Yankees after the all star break. It may have been the all star play by Alex Rodriquez, or even their coach Joe Torre may have put some desire into the players. Something happened to the Yankees because, after the all star break the Yankees have had the best record in the MLB not just the division, the entire MLB. The Yankees showed that nothing is impossible and that they can make it. That they can win another world series. Something has sparked these Yankees, whatever it is its working.

A loss is a loss

New York football hasn't lived up to our expectations this season. Both New York teams the Jets and the Giants disgusted by their losses. The Giants and the Jets both lost this weekend and it was devastating for both of them. The main question is will one of these teams make the play-offs? I'm not quite sure the Giants will, but I have faith in the Jets. I believe that the Jets can slip in with the wild card if they make some changes. Though the Giants wont win unless they make some dramatic change to their defense. Both these teams show no heart while playing the game. If these teams dont act soon, both of them will end up with a terrible season. New Yorkers do have faith in other sports. The New York Yankees and the Mets are playing well. Both should be able to make the play-offs, and this will give New York some excitment. We must not put the football teams down because nothing is impossible and with heart they can change their ways.
